You cannot fail to be charmed by the bright and eye catching packaging! Tropical views, colourful cocao pods all give the anticipation of authenticity, in both taste and flavour.
Located in the most beautiful part of the world, the chocolate is grown, produced, packed and shipped from their farm in the Caribbean.
As I started to learn more about the The Grenada Chocolate Co I realised these guys are seriously passionate about chocolate! Chocolate is their livelihood, it feeds their families, provides employment and unites communities.
Sustainable farming, solar powered energy coupled with organically sourced ingredients left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. An environmentally friendly dark chocolate, what more could a modern day girl want?!
They offer 6 varieties in their range, I pipped for 82%.

The Full Review
Smooth, coffee notes, fruity, sweet, not bitter with a great snap!
The very first words which came to mind.
A bar of chocolate with a true gentle character. I feel like this would be the grandad of chocolates, it has a maturity to it which is difficult to explain. It feels safe, comforting and well balanced.
I feel like this is a ‘safe’ dark chocolate or a dark chocolate perfect for someone who is new to eating dark chocolate and wants to open up their tastebuds to new and exciting flavours.
The lack of bitterness was a delight, although a girl with a bitter tongue, I hate it when dark chocolate is too bitter that you are unable to taste anything else.
Although impressed with this fruity little number, I was not blown away or left with a lasting impression.
However, I would definitely buy the 82% again and I will be reviewing their 100% over the next few weeks.
A fabulous choice if you are looking for a ‘safe’ artisan dark chocolate. A dark chocolate bar perfect for a dark chocolate virgin.
